TDS Telecom Names New VP of Marketing and Product Development
TDS Telecom (TDS®) is announcing Scott J. Schultz is its new vice president of Marketing and Product Development. Schultz has been with TDS, a Madison-based telecommunications company, for nearly two decades. During that time, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience across TDS’ business portfolio—including Residential and Commercial product lines, Wireline and Cable business units, Data, Video, and Voice, and related products. He has held director-level roles in Product Management & Development and Direct Sales & Repair Contact Center.
“Scott is a proven leader at TDS, effectively managing large teams of associates and meeting our company’s strategic goals,” said Julie Maiers, senior vice president of Marketing, Sales, and Customer Operations. “His background and knowledge of our business will help the company as we move aggressively to grow our legacy markets and expand our fiber footprint into new Out of Territory markets.”
Schultz is a proud advocate of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I). He has been a mentor to associates and served as a committee member on TDS’ DE&I Community Fund, which provides support of innovative projects that bolster education and advance technology in the markets TDS serves.
“Scott is not only concerned about delivering results, but he is also committed to growing a diverse and inclusive workforce that gives back to the communities we serve,” said Maiers.
Schultz, a Middleton, Wisconsin native, earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Arizona State University and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Schultz assumed his role on Dec. 5, 2021.
