Nominations sought for TDS Hometown Hero Award

TWIN FALLS, Idaho – When you think of someone who is making the Magic Valley a better place – who comes to mind?

Is it a teacher at your child’s school? A friend who’s always volunteering at community events?  A neighbor behind the scenes who doesn’t get the limelight?

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is seeking nominations for its Hometown Hero Award, which honors residents making a difference in their community. As TDS continues construction on high-speed fiber internet networks in Twin Falls, Jerome, Burley, Hansen, Heyburn, and Kimberly, a Hometown Hero Award winner will be chosen from one of those communities.

“The people of our communities are truly what make the Magic Valley great. We are excited to shine a spotlight on residents who make our region a special place to live and work,” said Jessica Kaschmitter, associate manager of Field Marketing in Twin Falls.

In addition to recognizing the winner, TDS will make a donation to the local nonprofit of the winner’s choice.
