Nominations sought for TDS Hometown Hero Awards in Treasure Valley, Idaho

When you think of someone who is making the Treasure Valley a better place – who comes to mind?

Is it a teacher at your child’s school? A friend who’s always volunteering at community events?  A neighbor behind the scenes who doesn’t get the limelight?

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is seeking nominations for its Hometown Hero awards, which honor residents making a difference in their community. As TDS continues construction on high-speed fiber internet networks in Meridian, Garden City, Boise, and Nampa, one Hometown Hero award winner will be chosen from each community.

“So many people work hard every single day to make our communities great. We are excited to honor just a few of the people that make the Treasure Valley a special place to live and work,” said Jessi Shockley and Pamela Hayn, Associate Managers of Field Marketing in Meridian and Nampa.

In addition to recognizing the winner, TDS will make a donation to the local nonprofit of the winner’s choice.
