TDS opens new warehouse in Helena, Montana and donates $5,000 to Montana Learning Center
TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) opened a new warehouse in Helena on Tuesday and was welcomed to the community by Lt. Governor Kristen Juras, Division Administrator of Business Montana in the Department of Commerce Liane Tayler, and Montana Chamber of Commerce’s Government Relations Director Charles Robison.
The warehouse will soon be filled with the latest in technology that will bring state-of-the-art 8 Gig internet, digital tv and phone services to the residents in Helena, the Helena Valley, and East Helena.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Tuesday afternoon when TDS also presented a $5,000 check to Ryan Hannahoe, executive director of the Montana Learning Center.
TDS has started construction on its fiber network in Helena and will connect homes and businesses in the Helena area with internet speeds of up to 8 Gig.
“Soon, this warehouse will be filled with the latest in technology that will bring state-of-the-art internet, sophisticated tv and phone services to residents in Helena, Helena Valley, and East Helena,” says TDS Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs Drew Petersen. “We are here in Montana this week to introduce ourselves and become your new neighbor and investment partner.”
TDS Vice President of Marketing and Product Development Scott Schultz described TDS products and services during the ceremony and added that “TDS Fiber will be a game changer for Montana.”
TDS is working with CEC Facilities Group, Irving, Texas, to construct the network. TDS has hired 45 associates in Montana with plans to hire more than 25 additional associates. Job openings are posted on the TDS website.
