Nominations sought for TDS Coeur d'Alene Hometown Hero Award

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – When you think of someone who is making North Idaho a better place – who comes to mind?

Is it a teacher at your child’s school? A friend who’s always volunteering at community events?  A neighbor behind the scenes who doesn’t get the limelight?

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is seeking nominations for its Hometown Hero Award, which honors residents and organizations making a difference in their community.

“We’re inspired every day by so many wonderful residents and nonprofits who make our communities a special place. The TDS Hometown Hero Award recognizes these unsung heroes who go above and beyond to make North Idaho a great place to live and work,” said Sandy Hendrix, TDS associate manager of field marketing.

Last year, TDS honored Cindy Wood of Family Promise of North Idaho with the Hometown Hero Award, which also includes a donation to a nonprofit connected to the winner.
