TDS named Best Internet Provider in Times-News 2026 Contest
TDS takes the top prize in Best of Magic Valley voting
TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is being recognized as the top local internet provider in the Twin Falls Times-News annual Reader’s Choice Best of Magic Valley contest. The award highlights the growth and reliability of TDS’ high-speed fiber network and the company’s commitment to the community since launching service in 2023.
Over the past three years, TDS has invested $170 million into building fiber infrastructure in Idaho and now employs more than 250 local associates across the state. TDS is also committed to being a strong community partner – for example, recently making a $1,000 donation to Martha & Mary’s Food Panty to celebrate the completion of construction in Jerome.
“As a family-operated company, being part of the communities we serve is important to who we are,” said Jessica Kaschmitter, TDS associate manager of Field Marketing in Twin Falls. “This recognition means a great deal because it comes directly from local residents, and we’re grateful for their support as we continue investing in reliable, high-speed connectivity across southern Idaho.”
Fiber internet is known as the gold standard of residential internet connections, giving customers the speeds and reliability needed for a superior digital experience – from remote work and school to online shopping and gaming. TDS also offers a sophisticated TV product called TDS TV®+ as well as landline phone options and TDS Mobile.
This is the first recognition for TDS in the Times-News Reader’s Best of Magic Valley contest. The Twin Falls-based media site conducts the annual competition in which readers vote on their favorite choices for local businesses and service providers.
TDS continues growing its fiber network in southern Idaho, bringing better internet to customers in Twin Falls, Burley and Heyburn. TDS also serves communities in the Treasure Valley including Nampa, Caldwell, Meridian, Garden City, and Boise, as well as the North Idaho region.
