AXS TV’s 'Band Together for Music Education' Awards TDS $2,000 to West Elementary’s Music Program in Butte, Montana

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) presented West Elementary School in Butte, Montana with a $2,000 grant to assist the school’s music program on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

AXS TV’s Band Together for Music Education initiative awarded TDS a $2,000 grant for West Elementary School as part of a continued commitment to supporting youth involvement in the Arts. AXS TV Band Together for Music Education provides vital funds and resources to exemplary public school music education programs across the country. Selected schools can use each grant to purchase music, buy new instruments, replace equipment, and more.

Band Teacher Denise Rauch was pleasantly surprised with the $2,000 donation. TDS’ Tom Cronnelly, TDS Associate Manager of Field Marketing, presented the check.

TDS, operating as TDS Metrocom, has started construction on its fiber network in Butte and will eventually connect homes and businesses in the Butte area with internet speeds of up to 8Gig.
