Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Customer Operations
Shane was appointed SVP of Marketing, Sales and Customer Operations in 2018. He has been with the company nearly 25 years, having first joined parent company Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. in 1996.
With responsibility for leading the Marketing and Product strategy for the company’s telecom and cable sectors, Shane oversees all facets of Marketing, Product Management and Development. This includes customer growth and retention strategies.
Shane came to TDS Telecom, in 2001, from sister company U.S. Cellular. While at U.S. Cellular, Shane had a critical role in helping the wireless company launch their first-ever family and unlimited roaming plans.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Shane is a member of the University of Wisconsin E-Business Consortium Marketing Executive Forum. In his free time, he enjoys boating and musky fishing in Wisconsin and Canada.
Shane holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse.
