Faster internet speeds create online opportunities for residents, businesses

TDS Telecom (TDS®) residential and business customers can now work faster online with the launch of 300 megabits per second of internet speeds in Fort Carson, Colo.

The new Ultra 300 and Business 300 internet services provide residential and business customers download speeds of up to 300 megabits per second and upload speeds of up to 10 megabits per second.

Ultra 300 and Business 300 customers can download up to three times faster than with the previous highest speed offering from TDS.  In 2016, the average worldwide internet speed was 6.3 megabits per second and in the United States, the average internet speed was 15.3 Mbps.
