Vice President of Marketing and Product Development
Julie was promoted to VP of Marketing and Product Development in January 2018.
In this role, Julie oversees the Marketing, Product Management, and Product Development teams. She also leads Marketing's strategic planning efforts and partners with the Sales and Customer Contact Operations teams to achieve TDS' customer growth and retention strategies.
Since joining the company in 1998, Julie has progressively taken on roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she was the director of Consumer Marketing and successfully spearheaded the company’s first out-of-territory fiber overbuild project in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. She now leads the company’s subsequent fiber expansion projects. During her tenure, Julie guided TDS’ first rollout of high-speed internet service in 2000, managed the launch of TDS TV, and was instrumental in developing the "Fiberville" marketing strategy.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Julie volunteers with Heart to Heart Experiences and serves on the Board of Directors. She is also a volunteer coordinator for The Road Home Interfaith Hospitality Network. In her free time, Julie enjoys running and hiking.
Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Mundelein College in Illinois, and a Master of Management degree from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, with concentrations in Marketing, Organization Behavior, and International Business.
