IMPORTANT!

A fraudulent email was sent to TDS customers today.

The email (which may have the subject line “Payment declined”) appears to come from “TDS Billing”. This is not an official email from TDS.

The email says a payment has been declined and tells the customer to log in to update payment information. DO NOT DO THIS!

The links in the email take you to a FAKE web site, which looks like the TDS log-in page.

DO NOT LOG IN.  Also, DO NOT click any of the links in the email.

Instead, simply delete the email.

If you opened the email and clicked one of the links but did not log in, you should not be at risk.

However, your account is at risk if you opened the email, clicked one of the links and logged in. You need to change your password.

You can change your password on your own by logging in to My Account found on the TDS Telecom website. You can also call us at 888-CALL-TDS if you need assistance – please have your Account PIN ready.
